"My Results Are Not Typical"
I am watching lately lots of all kinds of materials -videos, web pages, articles- about or from a certain kind of guys that I am following.
I follow them because I learn things from them
(and it is just normal that, if you want to learn something from them, you want to look at them as much as you need to, in order for you to understand things that are not said, only done).
I learn things from them because I want to be like they already are, or to have what they already have
(and learning is one good way to achive that).
I want to be and have that, because that is something good.
It is good because it makes my life better.
But there is something wrong… They always apologise!
They have to , in accordance to some stupid regulations.
I look at their best results, feeling motivated to improve mine’s, but they have to acknowledge that they are so great only because they are so great! I should therefore understand that, if I am not as great as they are, I will not possibly be as great as they are.
“My results are not typical”, they all say. Disclaimer!
Well, I have a problem with that!
How do I know their results are not typical? How does anybody know? What makes somebody know that those results are or aren’t typical?
Typical to what? What makes them typical, so that I, or somebody else, or anybody, for that matter, could tell what “not typical” is, by comparison to what’s typical?
I said, how do I know it. But, also, what do I know?!?
Am I qualified to know what typical is, in respect to what the guy with “not typical results” says is not typical? And if I am not able to judge, of what importance is it that I am told that the results are not typical?
How can you, the reader, tell if what I say that is(n’t) typical, really is so? What does “typical results” mean to you? Whatever it means, is that being typical good? Is it bad? What makes it good or bad to be typical, for you? Is that the same for me?
Is(n’t) it being (not) typical not good, nor bad?
If it’s possibly not good or bad, than is(n’t) it neutral? I mean… normal?
Um, I mean …TYPICAL?!?
Duh!…
Ok, stupid regulations will always exist, but they are still regulations and we must obey.
But that’s preventing us from growing! Here is how.
Imagine a teacher (imagine one that you truly respect) saying that it is good for you do learn or to do certain things.
That he or she did all those things that they encourages you to do and, as a result of them doing so, they accomplished great goals in their personal lives.
Which therefore served as beautiful examples for their students, even for the parents or friends of their students, or even for the friends of neighbours of relatives of acquaintances of their student’s plumber, improving the lives of all of them, they then bettering their communities and so on.
But now imagine that, hey…, that respected teacher must say, because a regulation requires it, without leaving any doubt, that… their results are not typical!
Now what?
If their results are not typical, I should NOT assume that I can achieve those results myself, or any of their students, even if I’d do what they did (and are now teaching us how to do).
Logically, if I do what they did (and what they’re now teaching us to do) and, as a result of following their teachings, I get similar results to theirs, it follows that it was quite normal for me to obtain those results. Which, by the way, is why I follow their teachings, in the first place.
Same for you. If you do the same and get the same results, it follows that it was normal for you to get those results.
Further, if anyone follows the teachings and obtain exactly the predicted, desired results, it means that those results are typical.
If you do the right things, you’ll have the right results. That is typical.
If you do the wrong things, you’ll have the wrong results. That is typical.
A result is typical for the action that precedes it. Duh, again.
I wrote this and you read this because me and you usually have (not) typical results, which is because me and you take (not) typical actions.
Those who take other actions than us will have other results than us.
There are reasons that makes it normal that people watching nice TV shows now need (by regulations!) to be told that certain results are not typical. Because their results are typical.
Your results are not typical.
Those people watching nice TV shows now do not get what we were talking about here.
They are not interested.
Fine.

How You, Too, Can Be Successful From Day One
…And why you want to get along with me on the path to a sure win
Hey, I didn’t smoke anything, so I don’t know why I feel like this, but I am damn sure I’ll be successful in this Online Business adventure that I’m taking!
In fact, I am so strong and ready for this because I prepared this travel, in the exact way I advised you to do whenever you start something new. I call it adventure just because of the fun I am already having, while feeling the buzz of an unknown, yet desired road, heading financial freedom…

It follows that they won’t make me successful in online biz. It is only ME who can do that.
And I decided to start doing that now, and not later, for two main reasons.
First, I neeeeeed to take action! I am dragging myself down if I don’t take action, now!
My head is full of info, no more room! I learned a lot, I now learn how to stop learning and start applying what I learned, I must learn from the process of doing. You didn’t
learn riding the bicycle before actually trying and doing. I need to check what do work for me and what not, then I’ll adjust.
Secondly, I meet the challenge of having the opportunity to sell before even promoting anything. Great!
Money! But no, “Show me the money!” can’t be all there is to Internet Marketing.
So let me assure you, it is about the feeling that you have when you realise that you can bring a positive change in the life of your prospect. My favourite “jenius” online marketer, Frank Kern, never stops talking about the goodwill that one can bring in one’s marketplace.
This is how a win-win situation is built. It is beneficial for everybody: the customer, the seller, the marketer, the producer.
This is what it means to be successful in online marketing from day one.

Let THEM Tell You What I Won't
What to write about, how long a post should be, how deep to dig into the subject, how relevant you want it to be to your audience, how often to post, these are all questions that can drag you down, especially in the beginning, when you don’t know exactly if what you want others to know is what others want to know.
I haven’t written any post in a while and I think that’s part of the struggles of the beginning. In time, the questions above will not even need to be raised, because the ideas will naturally get in an order. That is what’s happening when you really know what you are talking about.
And you really know what you are talking about when you blog about your passions. You can hardly stop posting!
Obviously, I don’t know what I am talking about, although I have my passions and interests, but I am still building this website. In the future, you’ll find here what everybody can learn from practising arts, in order to help them improve their everyday lives.
So if I don’t have much to say this day, I came with the idea of letting others talk about what they are passionate about.
Oh, I love this internet! I mostly love the “NET” part of it and here is why: you meet kinds of people who you won’t meet in your offline life, for a reason as simple as… location.
One of my recent friends is an “online friend”, whose presence on the internet is yet to grow.
We got in touch by simply him rasing a question on a matter of mutual interest and the other offering the awaited answer. No, it didn’t happen “by chance”, but because is no wonder that people meet when they share some interest.
The really nice part of such experience is that you then discover that you and your new online friends share much more than that few ideas shared in a Q/A post. In this case, we both love fruitcarving, martial arts, self-developement, making money online, all-mighty nature…

Some 3 Things Getting You Money Online
They are: a blog + a blog + a blog.
In other words: traffic sources + landing page + follow-up.
Why would a sane internet marketer use such a 3 in 1 tool, instead of working with specific tools on specific tasks?
They wouldn’t. But a blog is able to boost the results of other tools, if used properly.
Today I read an advanced marketer advice to a beginner, that all she needed was traffic sources + landing page + follow-up and I suddenly realised I pretty much have them already!
Traffic sources are many, so why do I only mention the blog?
I am not going to list all the things one need to make money online, I just mention three of them, which can, together, bring essential targeted traffic to you and turn that traffic into leads, than into buyers.
A blog is getting you good traffic only if you say things that are beneficial for your readers.
I intend to build this site to be oriented to help the beginners to make money online, because I am a beginner myself and I struggle with the overwhelming information I find on the internet.
If I can provide you, my reader, with the minimum of it, that’s useful to you right now, without you doing the hard work yourself, you and others will spread the word and other people will visit this site for quality, helpful info.
So this is not only traffic, but targeted, good traffic.
Good for you, good for your friends, good for me, too.
A landing page is what you need to establish a lasting connection with your visitors, by having them give you their email address in return to your favour.
Please note that I say you must have them give you their email address, not you take their email address.
Which means you have to be the one who give them something first, so that they will be kind enough to you to let you have their contact info.I dislike using the name “squeeze page”, which implies something not honest.
Some people may not be really interested in making money online right now (wealthy or weird people), but may become so in the future (when they’ll get broke or sane).
So you have to let them know that it is you the one to talk to and learn from, when they’ll need it.
And a blog is a great way to keep them close to you, if you provide them with information that is beneficial for them and that they can use immediately. A blog works like a landing page that your readers want to opt in themselves, all the time, if you give away good stuff.
Right now, I invite you to put in your email address, to let me keep you informed about more cool stuff that I’ll post here, but especially for stuff that’s only accessible for the members of my list.
Which brings us to the third essential thing for making good money online:
The follow-up sequence. The emails you send them are meant not to bring all kind of false promises and pushy offers in front of them, but to share with them what you found nice and useful, to tell them what you know about some great product, to teach them what you learned and is good for you and for them and so on, to educate them regarding the fastest and easiest ways to bring them inner positive development and prosperity for them and for their close ones.
You can send them tens and hundreds of emails, but you can add to that your great posts on your blog, increasing their satisfaction and your credibility.
The blog is presumably always fresh, so, as incredible as it may sound, it feels more close, more personal than those autoresponder messages, many of them copied/pasted (which I never do, btw).

Typing Lesson for Kyudo Learners (...What?!)
It happens more often than less, before my kyudo training sessions, that simple
thoughts comes into my mind that become interesting when related to kyudo.
And when I find out about such goodies, I forward them to you, my reader.
As I started blogging, touch-typing (typing without looking at the heyboard and at the text you’re typing) became more important than it was before. So I am learning and practising, pursuing two essential aspects of it, if I want to be like a “pro”: accuracy and speed.
Now, if I couldn’t have both all of the time, I would favour accuracy when I’d
publish a blog post or I’d release an article in the newspaper, or else I would prefere speed if I’d take notes at a conference or webinar.
But… can I have them both, accuracy and speed, at the same time?
Hey, wait, what does this have to do with kyudo, anyway?!
It has everything, once that we answer this:
Can I aquire both, simultaneously? Should they be improved one at a time? Better working on parts and than on the whole, alternatively?
The answer is, when learning any kinetic skill, we should combine the two aspects, but the key to speed is accuracy.
Always strive for 100% accuracy, never concentrate on speed alone on the expense of accuracy. Speed will come eventually.
When it comes to kyudo, accuracy translates to the correctness of our movements and positions, while the speed would correspond to fluently connecting movements and positions in the desired succession.
We know, generally or more detailed, what we have to do and in what order.
Once that we know, in theory, what Ashibumi means, for example, or Torikake, or Hikiwake, we can work on doing them, watching ourselves while doing them, observing what doesn’t work and correcting that, on the spot or next time we’re doing it.
A little notice here. “On the spot” means here to anticipate, to prevent falling in the mistake. Still, if we’re already “in” the mistake, it is better to to let everithyng flow as they do, keeping the issue in mind for the next trial. We only turn back if it is really bad (I mean really bad).
The best is to identify the most persistent problems and work on them separately, until they are “acceptable”. Anyone who ever tried learning to play an instrument find it normal to rehearse small chunks of music until the fingers play by themselves, than to integrate the parts into the whole.
This phase of working on details only until they are “acceptable” (“okay, let this be as is”) makes us to strive more and more for
walking through the whole Hassetsu.
It is this stage when, through practising, the details become more and more familiar to us and it becomes easier to watch and controll more and more aspects of what we do, than everything coagulates and flows less jerky, with lesser constious attention required.
Than it comes the smile :), than the serenity :|.
PS: It is completely different when we learn and work on mental/intelectual skills, such as learning a new language, or learning how to make money online.

You Are A Competent Beginner If:
That’s it.
But come take a look if I can do this myself, by telling you how I did it so far.
Clarify
and state your purpose online.
You may be here for your entertainment, or to express your personality, or for making money, or for becoming famous, or both, or for raising money for a great cause you genuinely belive in, or for getting many people connected around a mutual interest…
Whatever your purpose is, you want to be efficient in your quest and you can only do that if your purpose is clear in your mind. Stating it to others makes it truly powerful and makes it able to drive your actions.
Do your research
and do it well.
Read about your thing, find what others have to say about it, find people who are already where you want to go. Find pros and cons of the thing you’re interested in, from various resources of information (various, not too many!). Question everything you find, whether is in favour of or against your wish. If there is a flaw, you’ll see it and if everything’s alright, good for you! So don’t let yourself be a partisan of what you want to find.
Tony Robbins could easily show you how you’ll find exactly what you are seeking, ignoring everything else.
Find the experts
in that field you want to join.
Understand what do they bring as benefits to others and see how many people are getting what they need by following the teachings of those gurus. You don’t necessarily need to know right now what qualifies them as experts, but you do need to trust them in order to learn from them. There are very experienced people online, with great accomplishments, who remained normal people you can talk to, if you’re not abusing their time. They worked hart their way and now they show others the way to success.
As I am a beginner myself, I watch them closely and try to model their success.
But be aware, there is also plenty of fake experts, people who stepped yesterday into some business, but they talk to you like they built that business themselves. They sound competent only due to their Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V keys endurance. Stay away from them, as not only they will mislead you, but you may come to belive you aren’t as smart as they are. Which isn’t true, obviously, as you’re reading this.
Talk
to beginners like you.
Most of the times, in stressed situations, we are reluctant to talk to authorities, but feel comfortable to ask and share our thoughts with people of our kind. For example, I’m no expert of the matter that interest you, but I might be more closer to you than any expert, if I’ve been there just moments before you and I know first hand how you feel, what your main worries and big frustrations are, because I felt the same, just moments earlier… I still have fresh memories of what I did and how, what didn’t went smoothly and what worked great for me.
And I will share those useful experiences with you.
Being just few steps ahead of you, you can follow me from a safe distance, avoiding my mistakes. Just step into my footstep to success. Oh, be careful: if this is a minefield, you’d want to step exactly into my footsteps!
Prepare
the journey.
If it is something important, that requires preparations, prepare it properly. Not perfect! Just good might be enough most of the times. I was always a perfectionist and it took me painful years of wasted hard work energy to learn, as an architect, that making improvements on a sketch is way much more effective than trying to design something great and perfect from the beginning.
This blog is quite a mess right now, but come back and read this again in few, let’s say… five months from now. At this moment I have something to start with and I will be smiling after a while, looking back at how this looked like, “back in April 2014″… I will grow it, nurture it, feed it, love it, every day, little by little.
As JT DeBolt says, being perfect is not what’s important, improvement is.
I went through this sequence myself. I am now a successful, competent beginner.
I am heading to the state of continuous inner growth and outer prosperity and I’ll take you with me.
